Brawlers insignia
Hi, hope this is the right place to be asking this, I am using a bow on my ranger that has -10 armor whilst attacking, I was wondering if a brawler's insignia +10 armor whilst attacking, would replace the -10, if so would I only need to buy 1 inisgnia or would I be better buying 1 for each piece of armor.
Thanks in Advance |

It would cancel the effects on the -10 armour on your bow but you'd need to use Brawler's Insignia on all of your armour pieces. The bow's -10 armour mod is global but Brawlers Insignia are locational.
To be honest, go for Radiants or Survivor Insignia on a Ranger because your armour is good anyway. The -10 penalty is negligible. Last edited by makosi; Jan 28, 2008 at 01:36 PM // 13:36.. |

To completely be rid of the -10 you would need 1 for each piece.

Basically, every time you get hit by a weapon, spell, etc, it hit a location. IE, an arrow will either hit you in the head, chest, legs, or arms. Thus, you need to put the brawler's insignia on each piece in order to truely cancel out that -10 armor.
Honestly, it doesn't matter a lot. Rangers are usually in the back of the action and don't take a lot of damage. You should be fine with a radiant or survivor insigna instead. |
